Perry Glading Commissioner, Business Member
Perry joined Forth Ports PLC in February 1999 as the Deputy Managing Director of Port of Tilbury London Limited. He was subsequently appointed Managing Director in February 2001. He was appointed to the Board of Forth Ports PLC in June 2001.

His current role as Chief Operating Officer and Main Board Director of Fort Ports Ltd, who own a number of Ports in the UK, the main ones being Tilbury, London, Grangemouth, Dundee, Rosyth, Leith and 3 smaller berths on the Forth in Scotland. Perry is responsible for operations as well as the group’s strategic development.

Perry previously worked for a number of years in the European logistics market. He was appointed, in December 2004, to the Board of Port Skills and Safety Limited, which is the lead body on safety and training matters in the UK port industry.

Perry is a Fellow of the Institute of Logistics and Transport and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors. He has been a member of the SE LEP Board since February 2014.
